No matter how you look at it, the more that Iran persists in behaving this way, the more that the international community will look upon Iran with disfavour. The community is losing its patience with that country as it is now. They (Iran) have to realize this. From this article, it does seem that there are some quarters within the government that does. However, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has always been noted as being a radical element in Iranian politics, and not exactly a rational one at that. What is interesting, is it seems that the government their does not have complete control over them. It may be some time before these young sailors and marines return home.
